I had my reservations. I doubted I will be able to do it. As I’ve said, I do not have any physical work out to appease me. No training at all. Magpakamate ku, in short. Hee-hee! Been out of the stream due to my asthma and out-of-town work load. On the week before our run for the power race, I decided that if I am not prepared physically, I could at least be equipped mentally, emotionally and essentially, spiritually. Believe me when I say, God acts in mysterious ways. On the 615am mass last Saturday at the Holy Rosary Parish, the priest’s sermon deliberated on the importance of being resilient – of not giving up and being unwearied. It seemed that the consequential message was intentionally sent via the celebration to Super Girl by The Bossing.:) After which I met up with our circle group to go to a pilgrimage in Bacolor. There, we saw a lot of our Mother’s famous figures. My most favorite is the Visitation, kasi buntis ya iy Cousin Elizabeth, (aside from the fact that, there is really something with the expecting that delights me.;) I saw all the other unique pieces and they are all so gorgeous. Even the churches, magnificent. Ibat kami Betis Church. It was really grand. We fell in love with it. We actually had a chat inside since the church is still closed but still we were able to get in. We were in awe. Even the sweeper-keeper did not disturb us dahil siguru ikit na meniglo kami king pisamban.;) The visit was worth it as we tried to deepened our understanding on certain aspects of our religion. All the time we were praying, sisingit ke rugu (in silence) ing New Balance power race. My firm belief is, whatever happens from then on, I just know that the run will be every part between me and our Father Bossing. As I’ve done in the past, I’ve always wanted to start my distance quests with Father Bossing at my side. Hence with the certainty in mind, by after lunchtime, I am back to my retired self and thought of joining friends for their 5k run. Instead, I spent time with bespren and the kids. After a while, I was able to spend a pleasurable time with them again though we had to go home 7pm. Since your dear lola had to snooze indispensably for the next day’s run in Clark. Thus early the next day, I took out my darling Chippy and V-Cut snacks from the 7-11 store at the Bayanihan amidst a brawl of call center agents, while waiting to squeeze a hitch ride with dear Precy and Noel. By around 10, I finished my very first 25, on a sneak.
Tang Benny was waiting at the finish line. I came in last. Merine ku kang Tatang. But am happy he is there.:) I did make it, a finisher.;p
