A date with the Prelate

My Invitation

I envy Chris Tiu’s blog. Am making my own. Ha Ha.

I was there too. It was actually a first time experience to attend to such an event. Armed with my transmitter radio and excitement, I got a very good sit infront of the side of the stage where the Prelate happened to entry-exit. Even before seeing him, we were already being entertained by videos of him in other countries he visited over amusing translations and comments made by Fr. Bobby. He is so much of a down-to-earth person. A very straightforward individual who replies to queries with a practical mind. I would have expected him to be somebody very conformist and old-school in his message, but the minute I listened to him conveyed that this is a Man of God who does not mean to impress in being righteous. His replies were short but doably convenient. Nothing fancy. Conservative but practiceable. For someone like me who did not really expect so much but just to be a mere spectator, I was kinda impressed with the very ordinary means the visit was executed. I know that it was attended by a multitude of professionals, knowned and educated audience but yet you could not feel that one is an outcast, or well, different, as their presence purposely desired to hear what our Bossing needed to communicate via the Prelate. It was a day & a date so enriching. No regrets at all that I took this time off from work and rode in a love bus with the golden girls who indeed exhibited unreserved coolness. Though we did arrive at the convention center very early (dwelling on nanung gawan ku mall?!), we spent a time memorable. We made ado of what is available in our midst. We did  make a side trip to S & R afterwards. A splendid break with the senior-socialites. Ha Ha. But I could not have chosen better companions like no other. They are joy to be with. Aku mu ata, Bea and Nichollo deng single young ones.

Kidding aside, I endow admiration for captain Chris Tiu who enabled championing his father by his connection with our God. For someone so favored a cutie, he is on his own already soundly aground with the Father. The very same Bro-Bossing who have made my days consequentially important, renders me modest in my failures, and keeps me glowingly going.

Am so glad to be recuperating.
