It happened this morning. I was so eager to reach Clark to hone my biking skills when I met Mr. Accident on the way. He was driving so fast to catch the pink-passenger and stopped right to the fore. Why would I think he would pave the way and do the gallant thing to fittingly stay on the safe side of the road? Closing near the end of Abacan bridge I was shifting the knobs to higher gear to slow down and wiggled terribly but never expected Mr. Accident to eagerly race passed me. The fall did not bother me at all. I know I was at fault, too. I have become too confident thinking I am immortal, He he. Glad I was wearing a helmet though. That’s all it is to me, one of my other mishaps. I just know the Blessed Mother had done it for me again. After all, it’s a Saturday.;) My concern now is how I will be able to get on my bike again with a hurting back, ay apo.;c.
As well, I was kinda looking forward to test my endurance by joining a dua this October. It is supposedly only a Sprint, a 5km-run, 20km cycle and another 2.5km run. And now, I just have to inform dear Mr. Melvin, I can’t really do it this time. Pretty close. Both Apung Benny and team-mate Precy demanded me to bar biking for a while. Since I have yet to train for my first full-marathon. Maybe, next year?;) The warrior princess have not yet given up.
Too, Tere. I have been longing to do bonding activities with her since we thought and started talking of going diving together a looong way back. The biking activity may have been an opportunity to finally pursue a new career for us, Ha Ha. Yet lola has her throbbing back. But we will see. It may just be one of the bumps and bruises apparent now. Then, I return.;) I keep the faith.:)
