Team Clark Precy

As I’ve said, I am glad to be recovering from my mishap. He he. Having been out of circulation for three days, I am taking my time to heal a bruised ego as lola still has her sore back and a lil bit of cat attack. Nonetheless, my morning is full of surprises and titters. As I tuned in on my yahoo, I skimmed on this message from a fellow cooperator with the nice but not green anecdotes. I am particularly discerning with gags, but this particular tale really charmed me and placed me in a sunny frame. And it is all about….A little girl, dressed in her Sunday best, was running as fast as she could, trying not to be late for Bible class. As she ran she prayed, "Dear Lord, please don't let me be late! Dear Lord, please don't let me be late!"  While she was running and praying, she tripped on a curb and fell, getting her clothes dirty and tearing her dress.  She got up, brushed herself off, and started running again! As she ran she once again began to pray, "Dear Lord, please don't let me be late...But please don't shove me either!"

Then just right after nine, my team-mate called up to inform me somewhat of a bad news. How could be someone as settled be in tears?@? And am talking about the 42k registration-run in the Singapore Marathon. Yep, they have reached their 50k target, so now it is officially closed. I was in snuffles myself from laughing really hard because the subject of the sobbing boiled down to running. It’s a first for me to see her whimper. Not ever about disagreements with beloved nor about work load or a nuisance colleague. I am just in bewilderment to believe that she is that serious to weep about something like running in the marathon race?@? Well, my partner team-mate is one admirable wife and mama who has kept her mind set to finish the 42k distance race in December. She has poured her heart out with religious training for the past weekends in Clark. Whilst mer the same distance, is in total relaxation. Am still thinking of joining the dua pa pin e. The situation thought me back to the anecdote about the little girl in a hurry to class. My dear running mate friend is in gloom as she still tries to overlay the finishing touches in her project-passport. Reminiscent of the little lass, she now holds the plea, Lord please don’t let me be late.

My dear P..REN, you are such an esteemed inspiration. Apakayli mu ku talaga, as parati naman. Kaya here’s my offering to you, your very own blog. Wee hee hee.
