I had a late lunch. Which is just well because I have last minute to-do things to accomplish. T’was a rainy afternoon. A very good one at that. Since am fond of the rain. My ace banker friend is heaving news flash recently conveyed to her early that morning, an “AA” rating from the audit board. Woooohoooo! Lovely reason for a celebration. Thus, we headed to our usual meeting place, at GIADA’S CAFÉ AND KITCHEN (located at Berthaphil III, Clark Center along Jose Abad Santos Avenue, Clark Freeport Zone; Telephone No. (+6345) 499-1440). Owner Luchie was not around. Tried calling her. Response is either a network failure or redirection to a voice mailbox. At first, there were just us, Mr. In Yellow Rain Clothes, and two guy agents. A perfect setting to get pics of the place since it ain’t so busy yet. I took pics of the so yummy cakes. The tables, the menu, the bar, the food, our cups, and our ube cake (courtesy of Madam Luchie). After which came in a couple, my officemates, men meeting up for merienda in a long table, then again, three of my officemates ordering dinuguan (as it houses Razon’s specialties too, in a casual dining experience). Going back to us, we had steak, our lunch favorite. And coffee after, brewed to perfection Italian roast. And talk about perfect. Being with the company of two very good friends is always a terrific go together to a rather unflappable lounging space, that is, at the Café and Kitchen christened Giada’s.
