I LUV CEBU

Uhm. .how do I start?. . Wednesday, 22 February 2011. Marquee Mall. Speedo Outlet. Bought my new two-piece swimwear for a trip to Cebu this weekend. Even Yasmin George got herself a new one, and a membership card to go with that. That done, We traipse the side mall area looking for a resto eat. As usual, we ended up with YC. The chatty cashier has us familiar faces, and endorsed “Just Go With It” as a must-movie to watch, as he watched it may be, just may be, with a girlfriend the night before and was mesmerized by it. Oh well, I’ve seen the movie twice the previous week, and yes, indeed, so enjoyed it. So you must.

Friday. 24 February 2011. Marquee Mall again. Samsonite Store. I just had to make a come back. This time, on the look-out for a luggage bag. I ended up with a backpack, which carried conveniently my sparse suits for the beach. This time we ate at Jollibee. One-piece chicken for me, and a two-piece chicken for Yas, and extra rice. Uhm. . hungry maiden. At around we had to be back to Clark to transfer my stuff to my backpack, almost forgetting my itinerary ticket. At the DMIA, we parked by the Park-and-Fly with the help of our colleagues, not knowing that Bruno, upon our return, is a wanted red Toyota on the list, as the cashier people were not informed of the incident. We were not able to transfer any more to the employees’ park area as the security personnel at the time made a comment about us being late for our flight. Thus we had to run to catch up. Team Clark Yas had to go back for her other pair of tsinelas in her hurry.

An hour and fifteen minutes later, we’re finally in Mactan, in our cab to Be Resorts. Be Resorts Hotel, I was told, is owned by famed Cebu from the Benedicto clan, but still very much under the license of the Microtel group. Anyways, we paid our driver Php100.00, while La Greta paid hers Php 200.00, double our rate, as they have Italian Moscatelli in their squad.  We checked-in and finally succumbed by 230am.

Saturday, 25 February 2011. Our feast of Edsa Revolution, Mactan-style. The sight of a cutie during breakfast. The Skywalk Experience. Mario’s first jeepney ride. “Hey, in Italy, taking pictures is illegitimate,” which I surmised is directed to I and Yasmin Georges. My absolute ruling beckoned Yasmin George to take pictures of this Korean hottie seemingly vacationing from his Korean teleserye. At first he wasn’t in notice of our proceedings. Then, I just can’t helped but stare, ‘coz he’s the third appealing Korean I’ve seen in my whole life so far. Anyways, Mario kept on his lecture, whilst I do the hair flip. Such is life. So I must.

Sunday, 26 February 2011. ‘Twas raining pretty heavy. So we stayed in our rooms. Which is well too, as La Greta Lucy is feeling under the weather. Uhm, must be some kinda she ate at Sutukil? We just stayed in bed, and slept the whole day. This is what I call, genuine rest and relaxation. Doing nada, lazing  still. Only complementary photo shoot by the window sill.;)

Monday, 27 February 2011. Flight back day. At last, La Greta is doing better. We figured to tour our neighborhood on foot before we board our packs, that is, after Raine and yours truly’s dip at the beach donning my VS swim collection, he he. Believe me, no wasted time for our lineup. We make the most of every second. Life is short. So we must.

At the Mactan airport, we finally convened with Cristy and her constituency. The lone time we had been to company albeit we booked our flights and went to Cebu together.

All the same, I had a filling time in Cebu. As I do now, and later. I LOVE CEBU! What my shirt reveals.
